The Trans-Americas website is the compilation of the travels of Eric Mohl and Karen Catchpole. Karen is the writer of the articles and posts while Eric is the photographer who captures those amazing shots that transport you to the places they have been without having to be there physically. Both Karen and Eric left their jobs and their apartments in New York on April 2006, so they could embark on their Trans-American journey. Both of them realized that working their desk jobs for the rest of their lives wasn’t something that they wanted. They wanted to travel – so they did. From New York City, the pair of them went out to venture North America, Central America and South America. In December 2008, they wrapped up in the US and Canada and are now currently in Costa Rica where they will be having more travels.
